BEHIND THE LENS
NOW YOU SEE ME is a collaboration between SARAH & SEBASTIAN Co-founder and Creative Director Sarah Munro and ocean photographer, filmmaker and fellow scuba diving enthusiast Alice Wesley-Smith.
To share their love of the ocean and raise awareness around conservation issues close to their hearts, the duo travel to remote locations across Australia to document the precious marine life that inhabit these incredible underwater environments.
The short films series features original diving footage, compelling prose by writer Anna Harrison, and narrations by various voices connected to ocean conservation. Each film is designed to highlight the challenges facing our world beneath the waves and the importance of conserving Australia’s most vulnerable ecosystems.
SHARKS AND RAYS
The third film in our Now You See Me series illuminates the sharks and rays that inhabit the east coast of
Australia, from the unparalleled perspective of legendary conservationist and ocean photographer Valerie Taylor AM. Narrated by Taylor herself,
her engaging musings of the ocean and enduring relationships with sharks are imparted in prose penned by Anna Harrison.

To coincide with the Now You See Me, Sharks and Rays film release, SARAH & SEBASTIAN introduces the Shark Tooth Necklace. Featuring a shark tooth motif inspired by a real one that creative director Sarah Munro found whilst diving, the piece is cast in solid 10-karat gold and strung from our signature fine chain.
30% of sales will be donated to the Australian Marine Conservation Society to support their critical work removing shark nets and extending marine sanctuaries.
