SARAH & SEBASTIAN was founded in 2012 by Sarah Gittoes and Robert Sebastian Grynkofki whose unique backgrounds made for a compelling combination when it came to creating jewellery for the contemporary client. 

Gittoes is both a trained gemmologist and an experienced deep sea diver, and she brings to her work a sensibility shaped by that underwater world, where light bends, surfaces shift and form is rarely what it first appears. Grynkofki, on the other hand, came to the brand from industrial design, bringing with him a background in automotive engineering; an instinct for understanding how things of beauty are constructed, how a setting holds, how a form is shaped. From this tension comes a design language that is both innovative and precise, jewellery that puts a modern lens on traditional form.

All of our natural diamonds are GIA certified; the world's most respected authority on diamond grading. Each stone is assessed for the 4Cs: cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight, giving you complete transparency and confidence in your diamond's quality and integrity.

Once your diamond or gemstone is secured, our design team creates a precise CAD model tailored to your specifications. Your ring is then handcrafted by a master jeweller in our Sydney studio, with every detail, from hand-set stones to the final polish, finished to an exceptional standard of Australian craftsmanship.

Every engagement ring is encased in our signature aluminium shell. Designed to be a forever keepsake, your shell serves as a cherished trinket box and can be custom engraved with initials or a significant date to mark your moment in time.
