SOLDERED appointments are available to book online here.
SOLDERED appointments book out quickly so to avoid disappointment, we recommend booking in advance to secure your appointment. Appointments can be booked up to three months in advance.
SOLDERED appointments run for 20 minutes, allowing time to select your style and complete the service with care. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete our safety waiver before your appointment begins.
We can solder one bracelet per appointment. If you would like to add a second bracelet we recommend booking a second appointment.
We can safely solder one bracelet per person, per appointment. For a shared experience with loved ones or friends, select the option to add an additional person to your booking. Group appointments can accommodate up to four guests.
Due to the nature of growing wrists, the minimum age requirement for our SOLDERED service is 13 years old. Persons aged 13-16 are required to be accompanied by a guardian to receive this service.
Yes. SOLDERED is a meaningful experience to share with loved ones — perfect for bridal parties, birthdays, or milestones. Group bookings accommodate up to four guests. To share the moment, select the option to add additional guests when booking.
PRICE
To confirm your SOLDERED appointment, we’ll securely store your credit card details. If you cancel within 24 hours, arrive late, or don’t attend, a $50 fee will apply. We appreciate your understanding, as this allows us to accommodate other guests.
Signature chains start from $280 and sliders start from $95. You can preview the styles and prices in advance of your appointment here.

Preview SOLDERED styles and pricing before your appointment here. Our current collection includes 18 karat Yellow Gold and White Gold. Rose Gold is not available for SOLDERED styles.
Due to demand and the unique nature of our designs, some styles may have limited availability. Our team of expert solderers will work closely with you to ensure you find a piece you love.
Our range of SLIDERS™ are only designed to sit with our signature plain chain. Birthstone SLIDERS™ can be attached our plain chain, as well as the Stinger and Bold chain.
We don’t reserve chains and Sliders in advance. If you’re booking for a special occasion or making a group booking, feel free to contact your store location a week in advance of your appointment — we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences, though we cannot guarantee availability.
Each SOLDERED chain is measured and soldered for a seamless, permanent fit. Because of this precision, bracelets with clasps can’t be incorporated into the SOLDERED service.
Each piece is crafted in 18 karat solid gold and soldered by hand using a jeweller’s open flame. As the original fine jewellery brand to offer this experience in Australia, SOLDERED reflects the craftsmanship and quality that define SARAH & SEBASTIAN.
Each SOLDERED bracelet is tailored to your wrist. We’ll ensure a comfortable, personalised fit — close, but never tight — to allow for natural movement and changes in temperature. The bracelet must move freely for safety during soldering and for comfort in daily wear.
We don’t recommend a tight fit, as this can cause the chain to stretch more quickly as your wrist moves. For comfort and longevity, we size with slight movement in mind. If your bracelet ever stretches and feels too loose, we welcome you to book an aftercare appointment.
Currently, our SOLDERED service is exclusively available for bracelets.
GIFTING & GIFT CARDS
Yes, SARAH & SEBASTIAN gift cards can be used to pay for your SOLDERED appointment at the time of service.
Please note, SARAH & SEBASTIAN Gift Cards are redeemable exclusively at our standalone stores and cannot be used at any David Jones location.
Purchase a SOLDERED gift card online or in-store for the recipient to book and enjoy the SOLDERED experience.
AFTERCARE
We recommend an Aftercare appointment every six months, or sooner if you notice your chain has loosened or stretched. This complimentary service ensures your piece continues to fit comfortably and securely.
SOLDERED bracelets are made from 18 karat solid gold for durability, though gold is not indestructible and may stretch or break over time. If this happens, book an Aftercare appointment for re-soldering or adjustment.
With care, your bracelet is designed to be worn every day. As it’s crafted in solid gold, it’s made to last — a modern ritual to mark love, friendship, or personal milestones.
Please book an Aftercare appointment so we can re-fit and adjust your piece. This service is complimentary within our 24-month warranty.
To clean your SOLDERED bracelet, gently rinse it with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then pat it dry.
For SOLDERED chains, we suggest avoiding contact with chlorine chemicals found in swimming pools, hot tubs, and household cleaning supplies, as they can cause the jewellery to become brittle and prone to breakage. If exposure occurs, rinse the chain thoroughly with fresh water and pat it dry to prevent damage.
If your SOLDERED bracelet has stretched, we recommend booking an Aftercare appointment to have it tightened, helping prevent further stretching and reducing the risk of the piece getting caught on items.

Yes, SOLDERED bracelets are crafted in 18 karat solid gold which does not tarnish easily and can be worn with fake tan products.
SOLDERED Aftercare appointments are available to have your chain tightened, re-soldered onto the wrist, or to add additional SLIDERS
SOLDERED Bracelets can be removed by cutting the small jump ring* where the chain was originally SOLDERED. If your chain has fallen off your wrist and you would like to have your bracelet re-soldered, we suggest booking an Aftercare appointment and bringing your chain with you on the day.
*Note: this excludes the Staple Chain which can be cut on any link.
RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION
Please refer to your SOLDERED confirmation email, which includes the option to 'Reschedule your Appointment'. Changes can be made up to 24 hours before your appointment.
We understand that plans can change. SOLDERED appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before your appointment time via your booking confirmation email. Within 24 hours, we’re unable to make changes to appointments. In the event of late cancellation, late arrival, or non-attendance, a $50 fee will be charged to the credit card on file.
To ensure your experience feels considered from start to finish, please arrive on time for your SOLDERED appointment. If you’re running more than five minutes late, we may need to reschedule to allow enough time for the soldering process and to give you the opportunity to explore our SOLDERED collection and Story Cards without feeling rushed.
