Told across five chapters, A World of Wonder reimagines festive traditions through the beauty and striking contrasts of Australian nature.
GRAND GESTURES
There are gifts, and then there are grand gestures. Chosen for their beauty, given for the meaning they hold and treasured long after the wrapping is gone.
The first chapter of A World of Wonder unfolds around an elaborate Christmas lunch. A table set for celebration, glasses raised and extraordinary gifts exchanged with the people who matter most. But not everything is as it seems, and beyond the familiar lies a world of unexpected wonder.

The second chapter transports our muse to Tjoritja (West MacDonnell Ranges, NT), where she finds herself among the towering red cliffs of Kwartatuma (Ormiston Gorge, NT). A landscape of extraordinary colour, where deep ochre meets blue sky and flashes of green punctuate ancient rock formations.

Behind the Scenes of A World of Wonder
From Sydney's coastline to the heart of the Red Centre, our 2026 holiday campaign, A World of Wonder, reimagines Christmas through the Australian landscape. Trading traditional festive imagery for red earth, expansive skies and the deep blues of the ocean, we set out to capture a distinctly Australian sense of wonder. The journey took our team to Mparntwe (Alice Springs) and its surrounding landscapes, from the dramatic rock formations and still waters of Udepata (Ellery Creek Big Hole) and Kwartatuma (Ormiston Gorge) to the rich, earthy colours of Ochre Pits and the red dunes of Ooraminna. Against these ancient landscapes, natural diamonds, precious metals and coloured gemstones found an unexpected setting. Behind the camera, early starts, changing light and the practicalities of shooting in remote locations became part of the experience. A glimpse behind the finished images reveals the people, places and creative process that brought A World of Wonder to life, celebrating the extraordinary beauty of the Australian landscape and the spirit of Australian nature that continues to inspire SARAH & SEBASTIAN.
