CASUAL SOLDERER
 
We are looking for aspiring jewellers to join Sarah and Sebastian as a Casual Solderer and be an integral part of our iconic soldered bracelet experience! 
 
If you have experience in jewellery making or soldering, great with people and have a keen eye for detail, this role is the perfect opportunity to begin your desired career within the industry. We are looking for candidates who are based in Sydney to work across various retail locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment in store for clients coming to be Soldered
  • Follow all Health & Safety guidelines meticulously 
  • Serve and assist clients in Retail stores & our pop up, offering a wonderful Soldering experience
  • Perform our Soldered duties with focus, passion and client care
  • Track chain used and inventory levels, with your manager's support
  • Assist Store Manager with Soldered operations where necessary

HR BUSINESS PARTNER - PEOPLE & CULTURE

Newly created role to provide high quality HR consulting expertise to help drive the key business strategic priorities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to an incoming CEO, the HR Business Partner is responsible for delivering people processes, programs and initiatives that are aligned with the SARAH & SEBASTIAN strategic objectives.

This is achieved by working closely with the senior leadership team to understand the business challenges and opportunities and the development, facilitation and/or delivery of key people related strategies to increase the effectiveness of individuals and teams.

The role will deliver value adding solutions across a range of HR areas including recruitment, talent and succession management, performance management, change management, capability development, strategic work force planning, employee engagement, employee relations and remuneration and benefits.

  • Provide strategic input (from business and HR experience) to the creation of the HR Operational Plan that supports business objectives
  • Champions and delivers HR programs and processes with the business in a manner that ensures strategic objectives are obtained
  • Work closely with all managers to provide generalist HR consultation and advice
  • Courageously challenge the business leaders to ensure a better outcome on people related matters
  • Provide coaching and support to the senior leaders to drive high performance that enables the delivery of superior performance
  • Facilitate the resolution of employee relations issues and conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations in partnership with management
  • Provide HR operational support to people leaders 
  • Manage the recruitment cycle with people leaders including active participation in advert writing, short listing, interviewing, offers and contract generation

    ABOUT YOU 

    You have 7-10 years experience in progressive HR roles where you have made an impact through strategic HR programs.

    Being a stand-alone HR role, you are not afraid to dip into the detail of the operational HR aspects but can equally operate at a strategic level as you support the CEO and leadership team.

    Excited by a challenge, you enjoy a fast-paced working environment where you can call on your first-class business acumen and HR expertise.

    An undergraduate degree in HR is fundamental for success and your ability to demonstrate the delivery of strategic HR projects and initiatives is crucial. Previous experience in the jewellery, retail and manufacturing industry will be viewed favorably with experience in retail and manufacturing awards

            CLIENT CONSULTANT- MOSMAN & PADDINGTON STORES

            SARAH & SEBASTIAN is looking to hire a Client Consultant for both our Mosman and Paddington Stores. The two successful candidates will work closely with the Flagship Store Managers to drive sales, build client relationships and be a part of our exciting Engagement, Piercing & Soldered business.

            RESPONSIBILITIES
            • Drive and maximise sales performance in store
            • Strive for excellence to achieve set KPIs, such as Sales, UPT, ATV & Service excellence
            • Ensure store operations & store standards are constantly kept at a high standard
            • Act as an ambassador for our brand, building a client base through successful clienteling & great product knowledge
            • Presence & Energy on the sales floor, ensuring unparalleled service to our existing & new clients
            • Responsible for the actioning company procedures on cash activity, inventory, logistics and trade reporting
            • Host Bridal appointments in our engagement suite, whilst effectively owning the entire sales ceremony and communications from first appointment, to follow-up
            • Ensure unparalleled client facing sales service to all clients, along with an acute focus on after sales services

                  SARAH & SEBASTIAN are currently seeking a driven and skilled senior jeweller to join our in-house manufacturing team.

                  REQUIREMENTS 
                  • 3 years jewellery manufacture experience
                  • Understanding of high-volume jewellery manufacturing
                  • Preferable 2 years’ experience in stone setting
                  • Capable of managing your own workflow and deliver on expected deadlines.
                  • Willingness to share new jewellery manufacturing skills
                  • Work well in a fast-paced high-volume environment
                  • Attention to detail and the drive to manufacture high quality jewellery
                  • Must be motivated and punctual
                  • An understanding of SARAH & SEBASTIAN product and brand
                    This is a full time Jewellery Manufacturing position in our design studio and workshop in Alexandria, Sydney.
                    The candidate can work permanently in Australia with no restriction on hours (Required)
