Words of Endearment is a holiday ring collection formed by sweet nothings of friends and loved ones. An evolution of our iconic personalised jewellery, the concept is as old as the brand itself, with each ring capturing the essence of self-expression and individuality.
From explicit terms of affection to unconventional words with loving intent, the collection features Word Rings with endearing expressions hand-picked by the SARAH & SEBASTIAN team, including ‘darling’, ‘diamond’, ‘mama’, ‘sister’, ‘salty’ and ‘chill’. It also features a Bespoke Word Ring to create your own loving sentiment and single Letter Rings in every letter of the alphabet.
Working between doodles, visual diaries, post-its, CAD, 3D printing, and their own writing fingerprint, our in-house design team laboured over every detail of the letters and typeface. Often moving back and forth between letter styles and typography elements, they designed various iterations of the alphabet, making slight adjustments to the angles, dimensions, joints and ergonomics of each letter and word. This led to the development of an exclusive cursive typeface that resembles the playful, scrawling nature of delicate handwriting.
