SARAH & SEBASTIAN are in search to find a creative, innovative, and strategic Social Media Lead. Based at our Alexandria Head office, home to our designers and artisans, you will be at the heart of our storytelling globally.
Responsible for the creation of enchanting digital content and experiences that resonate with our brand ethos and clientele. From conceptualising creative content to strategising for increased client engagement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brands narrative across various platforms.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Conceptualise and manage the execution of social media across all touchpoints and platforms, including but not limited to; Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn.
- Develop the social media calendar across all platforms to support marketing communications.
- Adapt weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans according to commercial decisions and business objectives.
- Stay up to date with social media trends and best practice to ensure maximum reach and engagement and suggest content formats and processes to evolve each channel.
- Be responsible for translating the brand for our social audience by writing strong and eloquent captions.
- Support content creation as needed and work with the Visual Content Specialist to manage the flow of content creation to ensure content is developed in a timely manner, proactively finding process efficiencies.
- You will work across functions and directly with marketing, brand, press, retail, and recruitment teams, ensuring their respective demands are met.
- Work closely with the Ecommerce Team and digital agency partners to support paid social performance balancing organic and paid strategies.
- Collaborating with PR to develop an influencer and creator marketing plan to build brand awareness and support user generated content.
- Create localised social strategies for international markets with a particular focus on Little Red Book and WeChat. Partnering with external agencies where relevant.
- Support with community management by monitoring comments and private messages, working closely with the customer care team.
- Develop social community reports; identifying issues, patterns and trends in consumer comments and summarise key themes monthly.
- Monitor performance data, compiling regular reports to feedback and encourage teams to make better informed decisions on what does and doesn’t work on social.
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
- Minimum 5+ years in a similar role within fashion, luxury, or jewellery.
- Experience creating and sourcing social content across multiple platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail that allows you to write with a consistent brand tone of voice.
- An analytical thinker with experience using social media to drive engagement and follower growth.
- Proficiency in Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest’s newest features, as well as formats popular on the platforms.
- Experience working with social media scheduling and planning tools.
- Proficiency in graphics and other social assets using Canva and/or Adobe.
- Great organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at once.
- Experience in a fast-paced and growing brand with an appreciation for luxury branding principles.
- Knowledge of online and offline marketing channels and an understanding of their interplay.
