REQUIREMENTS
3 years jewellery manufacture experience
Understanding of high-volume jewellery manufacturing
Preferable 2 years’ experience in stone setting
Capable of managing your own workflow and deliver on expected deadlines.
Willingness to share new jewellery manufacturing skills
Work well in a fast-paced high-volume environment
Attention to detail and the drive to manufacture high quality jewellery
Must be motivated and punctual
An understanding of SARAH & SEBASTIAN product and brand

This is a full time Jewellery Manufacturing position in our design studio and workshop in Alexandria, Sydney.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive and maximise sales performance in store
Strive for excellence to achieve set KPIs, such as Sales, UPT, ATV & Service excellence
Ensure store operations & store standards are constantly kept at a high standard
Act as an ambassador for our brand, building a client base through successful clienteling & great product knowledge

Responsible for the actioning company procedures on cash activity, inventory, logistics and trade reporting
Host Bridal appointments in our engagement suite, whilst effectively owning the entire sales ceremony and communications from first appointment, to follow-up
Ensure unparalleled client facing sales service to all clients, along with an acute focus on after sales services
Creating a strong private appointment culture & appointment business through effective clienteling building
Ensure that the Sarah & Sebastian visual displays and personal behaviour is accordance with Company values
Assist the Flagship Store Manager with tracking client feedback in order to improve our offering and drive return trade

SARAH & SEBASTIAN’S Oxford Street Flagship store in Paddington is a conceptual space with a thriving jewellery, piercing and engagement ring business. This multifaceted store has experienced exceptional growth and now we are looking for a dynamic, charismatic Assistant Manager to join the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting the Flagship Store Manager, this essential role will be a strong presence in the store and;
Lead the Paddington retail and service teams to financial success through exceptional service.
Create a client-centric culture by personally developing and maintaining client relationships and coaching the retail and service teams in clienteling.
Be educated on diamonds, to host engagement appointments, clienteling and converting effectively.
Be responsible for store operations and support the Store Manager with all company procedures including cash activity, WHS, security, inventory, logistics and reporting.
Create a positive, motivating environment through effective communication & exceptional people management.
Ensure the team is always prepared and updated on SARAH & SEBASTIAN information, product knowledge, local market updates, policies and procedure and roll out training where necessary.
Act as a brand ambassador at all times, ensuring that the Sarah & Sebastian visual displays and team behaviour is in accordance with company guidelines and brand ethos.

Our piercing service is the first luxury piercing experience offered in Australia, working with 18-karat gold jewellery, purpose built piercing labs, the highest standards of sterilisation and quality tools. We are now searching for a Head Piercer to lead our piercing business, overseeing a team of piercers in Sydney and Melbourne, to deliver the best possible experience to our clients.
Reporting into the Head of Sales and Services and working closely with the Piercing Service Manager, the Head Piercer will have a finessed technical and operational approach, responsible for;
- Leading the SARAH & SEBASTIAN piercing team, training and upskilling individual piercers on piercing techniques, knowledge, procedures and standards required to deliver an exceptional piercing experience.
- Growing the piercing service business to financial & service success through effective management, identifying opportunities and implementing improvements across all aspects of the business.
- Developing and implementing procedures and standards for the piercing service, lab and service standards, as well as industry compliance.
- Working with design on the development of piercing styles, providing technical support, maintaining a full overview of piercing jewellery component requirements and collating feedback from the team.
- Managing the operations of the Piercing labs, setting and upholding immaculate piercing lab standards, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards, managing inventory and the distribution of consumables and stock across piercing locations.
ABOUT YOU
You are highly experienced and talent piercer with over ten years experience in the industry. You have an entrepreneurial spirit, with the proven ability to manage teams and oversee a successful piercing business. Your passion for fine jewellery is contagious and you have a genuine love for building relationships with clients and your team members. With strong operational and communication skills you feel confident in managing all aspects of a piercing business.
