You don't always need an appointment to create your engagement ring. Our Diamond Vault showcases a thoughtfully curated selection of ethically sourced natural diamonds. Some of these stones are already set in our signature SARAH & SEBASTIAN engagement rings and available for purchase on our website.

We work exclusively with natural, conflict-free diamonds that are compliant with the Kimberley Process and certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the world’s foremost authority on diamonds.

Our engagement rings take eight weeks to craft bespoke pieces using specially sourced diamonds. If you choose a ready-to-set diamond, your ring will be ready in 20 business days.

Mixed metals create unique pieces. Many clients choose white gold or platinum claws paired with a yellow gold band to create a ‘floating’ effect for the diamond.

We offer the opportunity to create a piece that reflects your story. Our bespoke engagement ring services allow you to personalise everything from diamond and gemstone selection, alloy finish to setting, proportion and scale.

Yes, SARAH & SEBASTIAN offers clients the opportunity to create customised rings through our Atelier service. Atelier is a departure from our Bespoke service, with one-of-a-kind pieces created outside of our traditional offering. Jewellery within this service is exclusively designed to suit your requirements, however, will always embody SARAH & SEBASTIAN'S signature DNA.

We offer a range of bespoke design services, from subtle refinements to custom creations. Depending on the level of customisation, you may adapt an existing design, make considered design alterations, or work with our Sydney-based designers to create a bespoke ring.

We design our solitaire engagement rings with tapering bands to achieve a delicate appearance while ensuring durability for daily wear. The base of the ring is slightly thicker to make sure it withstands everyday pressure.

If you prefer a non-tapered band (uniform thickness all around), the minimum thickness we typically offer is 1.8mm. Please consult your engagement specialist to confirm availability for your ring, as this choice can also depend on the size of the engagement stone.

We recommend matching the alloy of your engagement and wedding rings to make sure the pieces work together perfectly. If you use different alloys with varying hardness for these two rings, you're more likely to notice scratches or damage on both the wedding band and the engagement ring. In some instances, the wedding band may scratch against the engagement ring prong, which could loosen or break it, compromising the security of the stone.

You’ll receive a complimentary SARAH & SEBASTIAN ultrasonic cleaner for home use with the purchase of your engagement ring to keep it sparkling. Additionally, we provide free lifetime cleaning at all of our stores—you can schedule an appointment for this service online.

We provide one complimentary resize on all SARAH & SEBASTIAN engagement rings within three years of the date of final payment.
